Do you have problems getting along with others?
Perhaps you’re telling yourself everybody you come in contact with are the ones being difficult? Can everybody be wrong?
Now have you stopped to wonder…maybe it is your own doing? In self-denial?
True, we all can be when it comes to our fault, but in cases like these, we need to take a step back to honestly look at ourselves.
Some guys are just great at talking with others. They have a certain charm and charisma to them, and you often wonder how someone who may not be as intelligent or educated as you can move up the corporate world or have women begged to be taken out by them.
Success in life stems from a lot of things. Your promotion at work could be due to your hard work, or your luck with women could be caused by your dashing good looks.
Or, it could all be due to your social skills.
How Do You Define Social Skills?

Social skills are characterized by verbal and nonverbal behaviors and actions that humans use in order to communicate with others. A socially savvy individual can effectively interact with strangers and dazzle women with his charms.
Great social skills equate to success, whether it be your professional or personal life. To be able to social interact well with others bring about a multitude of benefits that can lead to getting what you want and the life you desire.
But what if you are constantly struggling interacting with people out in social gatherings? How are you finding yourself in the corporate leader? And your dating life? Is it where you want to be?
If you’re currently dissatisfied with your standing in life…the simple answer to why you’re not getting what you want relates back to poor social skills.
What Causes Poor Social Skills?

There are internal reasons, like shyness, social phobia, and anxiety; and there are external reasons with upbringing and social conditioning.
If you know you’re shy or socially incompetent but ARE happy with where you are…then you really don’t have to do anything. Stay with where you are and keep doing the same things you have been doing.
But if you want to get the things you’ve always wanted but your lack of social skills is getting in the way of them, then you have to have the desire to improve yourself.
Once you have that desire, ask yourself…why do you keep to yourself at social setting or can’t talk to that pretty girl in the room?
Dig into your childhood or past and try to remember an event in your life that caused that fear of social interaction. Determine the roots of your social inhibitions. The curtain that covers your social-self are negative thoughts and emotions. You may have a fear of rejection, not know what to say, or think that other people might judge you. It boils down to fear, low self-esteem and confidence, and lack of skills.
So really think about these psychological issues that are the root causes of why you act the way you do in social situations. Once you know the real problems, you can then deal and overcome them.
