Why Your Fashion Sense is Extremely Important?

Man, what a week it has been…

First there was the Maxim Pre-SuperBowl Party at Espace here in NYC this past weekend, then the annual Super Bowl…now with conspiracy going on that the whole game was rigged.  (I mean come on, the legendary Peyton Manning, with that low of a scoreboard…horsesh*t!)

And now moving on from sportmania to fashionista

It’s that time of the year again.  You know what that is?

New York Fashion Week 2014, yup!

There’s no better time and opportunity to meet and hang out with models than Fashion Week.

For you guys, who aren’t into fashion sticking with your “generic mainstream, everyday average-Joe look,” all I can say is…look dude, how you dress and present yourself is a big factor NOT only in getting the ladies, but also your influence and showing your way of life.

Zoolander Fashion - Social Natural

Now I admit, I wasn’t that much of a Zoolander myself in my younger days.  Like most guys, I stuck with the same old Nike sneakers, flip-flops, low-rise jeans, and labeled shirts (like Abercrombie & Fitch thinking it was cool and I was fashionable.)

(Fashion Tip: Abercrombie is NOT high fashion, as much as how cool they tried to market themselves with repetitive models campaign showing skin.)

Men High Fashion - Social Natural

High fashion is what you consider as custom-looks and outrageously out there, stuffs normal majority of people don’t wear everyday, but for special occasion.

Most guys either don’t know a thing about fashion or steer clear of it because they’re afraid of coming off as gay.

Yes, you can get the gay-label, but they’re usually coming from the same old douchy guys who creep girls out.  Let them say whatever they want.  Be confident enough to not care.  All they’re doing is making your life easier in meeting chicks by already eliminating the competition because you stand out.

Yet, there is a fine line…you don’t want to go to too overboard flamboyant like the over-the-top runway shows.

Burn the boring pin-stripe button down shirts every guy wears.  Avoid having the same hairstyle as everybody else, either grow it long like a surfer-dude or keep it edgy-ball like Vin Diesel or a classy high-volume slick comb seen in typical fashion photoshoot for guys.

Masculine-metro is probably the best way to describe the ideal style you should be aiming for.

Yes, you will draw attention.  As a double-edge sword, this can work for you or against you, but that determining factor is how you handle it.

Good-looking People - Social Natural

Good-looking people always stand out.

When you go out at night, when your eyes scan the room, you always take notice of the hottest woman you want to meet, not the ugly ones who don’t draw your attention.

Same thing happens with women.

So get used to it bud!  😉

Best advice I can give is to pick up yourself a subscription to V-Man Magazine.

Ok, I know I’ve gotten off tangent here, but I’ll give you the insider to Fashion Week tomorrow, and how you can become part of it to meet models and party at the high-end exclusive parties.

lol we all need to perfect our magnum.

  2. I know guys who lack confidence and I know that they could just make a slight (but significant) change to their dress sense that would help them out massively.

I think that whatever your style is, if you struggle with fashion you don’t need to change your basic style – just buy new clothes that are of a more modern and stylish version of what you normally wear.

If you’re on a budget, or don’t have unlimited money, I would say be selective about the clothes you buy. Find items that you know you will be able to wear reasonably regularly, and you have other clothes that will match (or buy other clothes to match).

What's On Your Mind?
