That’s right! Believe or it not, today is not only Super Bowl XLIV but is also my birthday!
You know, I always wonder why they use Roman numeral XLIV instead of the actual number 44, wouldn’t that be easier? There are people out there who just don’t get the whole Roman numeral thing.
For me, I can read it, but it takes a lot longer to take the lower first number and subtract it from the second higher number for each digit and still I even have to at least know what each letter represent, than just reading 44.
Alright so who am I rooting for? New Orleans Saints or Indianapolis Colts?
I’m actually a huge New York Giants fan, and imagine how ecstatic I was when the underdog won Super Bowl 42 back in 2008 against the almost Perfect Patriots (sorry to all you New England fans out there :)), yet I’m still very loyal to New York so I was really hoping the New York Jets would be in it because that would have been awesome, considering how close they were and how this was the quarterback’s first year as starting quarterback. But you know what, blame it on the Indianapolis Colts!
